We are dedicated to providing support, stability , and community for Single Parent families.

Help us Restore Single Parent Families in need.

  • Our Mission

We are committed to bettering the lives of Single Parents and their children, by creating a foundation of independence through advocacy, the offering of resources, and mental health support.

  • Our Values

    Compassion. Community. Service. Respect. Equality.

We value the well-being of others. We recognize and appreciate our community and strive to give back. We aim to address the public’s needs and value the opportunity to be a positive solution for change. We admire the differences and individuality of each person's strengths, weaknesses, and perspectives. We accept all. All are welcome. All are loved.

Get the help YOU need

The Single Parent Project specifically helps working single parents who make too much for government assistance, but not enough to thrive. We offer financial assistance for day-to-day expenses like utilities, rent/mortgage payments, gas, groceries, child care expenses, and car repairs.

Once we offer financial assistance, we offer a variety of resources, to help single parents better their financial, personal, and emotional well-being.

  • Vehicles for Single Parents

To many of our parents, a vehicle is a luxury. A Single Parent’s life can be hard enough juggling work schedules, daycare, after care, doctor appointments, grocery shopping and so much more. A safe, reliable vehicle can make all the difference in the lives of single parents across our community. We’d like to start this initiative to give these families every chance at a better life, higher success rates, and peace and harmony in their lives.

  • Education

Part of The Single Parent Projects' mission is to help single parents gain independence and better their lifestyle, making them capable of providing the best possible living situation for their children. In addition, children growing up in single-parent families typically do not have the same economic resources as those growing up in two-parent families. Compared with children in married-couple families, children raised in single-parent households are more likely to drop out of school. By donating to this initiative, you will provide single parents or their children with scholarships, helping them achieve their independence goals.

  • Extra Curricular Activities

We understand the importance of children being involved in extracurricular activities. We want to ensure that a child raised by a single parent never misses an opportunity to participate for financial reasons. From football camps and registration to Ballet, we can provide the funding for single parents' children to follow their dreams with your contribution to this initiative!

  • PROJECT 3434

Over the next 2 years we will be preparing to take on one of the largest Ultra Running feats one can do. The Run Across America. This is so much bigger though. I have named it “Project 3434” because this is a journey that will comprise itself of races and events to not only prep us for the big run to raise funds and awareness for single parent families in need. This is why we will be partnering with @thesingleparentproject over these next 2 years.

“They actually care, and they understand that I’m not just looking for a handout, but a support, a team.” Pamela Alanis, program advocate
