Our Mission

Our Mission Passion Goals Commitment

The Single Parent Project is dedicated to providing support, stability and community for Single Parent families.

We are committed to bettering the lives of Single Parents and their Children, by creating a foundation of independence through advocacy, the offering of resources and mental health support.

Our Values

Compassion. Community. Service. Respect. Equality.

We value the well being of others. We recognize and appreciate our community and strive to give back. We aim to address the public’s needs and value the opportunity to be a positive solution for change.  We admire the differences and individuality of each person's strengths, weaknesses and perspectives. We accept all. All are welcome. All are loved.

Our Impact

The Christmas Project

Our Christmas Project is back to bring the joy of the Holiday Season to families in need!

We understand the pressure of the holidays and we’d like to help you. If you are in need or would like to nominate a family in need of assistance for the holidays, please reach out to us.

For those of you who’d like to Donate to this cause we would be privileged to serve the families in our community with your kind contribution.

2021 Donation Initiatives

Education

Part of The Single Parent Projects' mission is to help single parents gain independence and better their lifestyle, making them capable of providing the best possible living situation for their children. In addition, children growing up in single-parent families typically do not have the same economic resources as those growing up in two-parent families. Compared with children in married-couple families, children raised in single-parent households are more likely to drop out of school. By donating to this initiative, you will provide single parents or their children with scholarships, helping them achieve their independence goals.

Extra Curricular Activities

We understand the importance of children being involved in extracurricular activities. We want to ensure that a child raised by a single parent never misses an opportunity to participate for financial reasons. From football camps and registration to Ballet, we can provide the funding for single parents' children to follow their dreams with your contribution to this initiative!

Community Space Build

For The Single Parent Project to be successful, we need sufficient space to hold all we have envisioned for the organization to run smoothly. By donating to this initiative, you will help us find our dream location, which will allow us to hold our support groups, provide counseling services, hold life skill educational workshops, and serve our clients with the care they deserve, all in one comfortable and welcoming place!

Support Groups

The Single Parent Project offers Monthly Support Groups for Single Parent families.

We will now be offering 2 groups monthly. On the first scheduled Wednesday we will do our separate YOUTH GROUP and SINGLE PARENT GROUP. The second scheduled Wednesday we will do the FAMILY GROUP.

The Christmas Project

As we approach the holidays, we know that the thought of spending money you don't have for gifts can be all-consuming. In a time that should bring so much joy, this worry only causes anxiety and stress. Join us in supporting our Annual Christmas Project.

During last years Christmas Project, we were able to help 65 families. This year our goal is to help 100.
